The coin finished, bolstered, hand detachable sidelock action displays beautifully cut tight leafy scroll engraving with a pair of oak leaves on either side. The engraving extends to the upper tang and toplever which is inlaid with the initials "RJ" in gold. The gun features a bushed firing pin for the upper barrel, gold washed cocking indicators, dual single set triggers, and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Highly figured, oak leaf and acorn fish scale checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with teardrop carved flats, horn grip cap, raised cheek piece, and Pachmayr White-Line recoil pad. Included is a wood and leather takedown case. Length of pull 14 1/4 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 12 oz. with scope.
Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence, a plum hue to the barrel, a few small pressure marks in the wood, and sharp fish scale checkering. The case is very good. Mechanically excellent.
