The attractive engraved German silver lock is marked "T./RICHARDS" in two lines at the center and features a safety catch and roller frizzen. An oval brass plaque with an eagle at top and an acorn at bottom adorns the top of the wrist. The barrel has two Birmingham proofs on the upper left flat. The barrel and fittings are all brass with floral and border engraving. The bore is estimated and flares out to 1 1/10 inches at the muzzle.

Very good, exhibiting attractive bright surfaces and some scattered light peppering on the lightly polished brass components and German silver lock, and sharp markings and engraving overall. Stock is good with scattered scratches, dents, numerous cracks and repairs visible, and remains sound. Mechanically excellent.
