Manufactured in 1883, this is one of only approximately 4,000 New House Model revolvers produced. The top of the barrel has the two-line address, and the "COLT HOUSE 41" etched panel is on the left. There are British proofs on the barrel and cylinder. It has standard features and is fitted with a pair of checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" at the tops. The serial number is on the butt. The back strap is hand engraved "F.T. BAKER. GUN MANUFACTURER. LONDON." Includes an oak presentation case with an F.T. Baker retailer label inside the lid and a cleaning rod.

Fine, retains 40% of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to mostly a smooth brown-grey patina and the etched panel crisp. The grips are very fine with some scattered light handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with some scattered minor handling/storage markings.
