Manufactured 1916-1918. Blade front and 500 yard tangent rear sights, with "crown/crown/U" on the left side of the chamber, "crown/gothic letter" on the right side of the chamber, and the Mauser Oberndorf address on top of the chamber and on the right side of the frame. Fitted with a small-ring hammer and 32-groove grips, with a small "9" branded into the right panel. External numbers are matching, along with the grip panels and floorplate. Includes a shoulder stock (numbered to a different pistol), 1917 dated leather harness, and a wood-handled cleaning rod.

Very fine, with 75% plus original blue finish, with areas of brown patina on the frame and gripstraps, bright wear on the high edges and the underside of the barrel from contact with the stock, mild spotting, and a few light scratches. The grips are good, with some dents and minor chips, and the stock shows a thin crack in the mouth along with some mild scratches and dings. The otherwise very good harness has cracks in the straps, tearing and loss of parts of the spring pouch, and mild scuffing. Mechanically excellent.
