The SA (Storm Detachment) Group Alpenland was responsible for the Austrian districts Upper Danube, Salzburg, Voralberg, and Tyrol, which would be home to the Alpenfestung (Alpine Fortress), AKA "The National Redoubt". The pistol has commercial blue finish, blade front and notch rear sights, standard markings "J.P. SAUER & SOHN, SUHL" and "CAL.7,65" on the left of the matching numbered slide and "PATENT" on the right, "crown/N" proof on the right of the frame, slide and muzzle, and a "SuS" monogram on the left grip panel. Includes a black leather "fkx4" marked holster.

Excellent, retains 99% original blue finish. Applied yellow paint on the front sight face and red paint on the rear sight face and safety indicator. Grips are also excellent with minimal handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. Included holster is very fine.
