Desirable and Excellent World War II German Kriegsmarine Marked Mauser Model 1934 Semi-Automatic Pistol with Matching Magazine and Kriegsmarine Proofed Holster

Manufactured from 1936-1941, this is one of approximately 23,000 Mauser Model 1934 pistols procured by the German Kriegsmarine. The one-line Oberndorf address on the left side of the slide, "Cal. 7,65-D.R.P.u.A.P." on the right, the Mauser banner on the left side plate, "eagle and swastika/M" marking on the right of the frame, and "O.3023" marked on the front strap and repeated on the bottom of the magazine. These markings are typical for a sidearm in the Kriegsmarine inventory, specifically one processed and issued through a depot on the Ostsee/Baltic Sea. It is fitted with a checkered walnut wraparound grip. These pistols are discussed, with similar examples pictured, on p. 165-172 of "Axis Pistols" by Jan C. Still. Includes a brown leather holster with "G.F.MORDHORST/HOFLIEFERANT/KIEL" maker marking and Kriegsmarine drooped wing "eagle/M" marking on the front, and an extra commercial magazine.

ConditionExcellent, retains 95% plus original blue finish with some light edge wear mostly concentrated at the front edges of the slide. Grips are also excellent with a few small areas of light crazing, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Included holster is very fine.
