The coin finished pinless sidelock action displays beautiful scrolling floral engraving over a matted background surrounding game scenes on the lockplates, underside, and trigger guard. The left side displays quail in flight amongst rolling hills with two on the lockplate and one in a continuation of the scene on the pivot pin, the right side shows pheasants in flight over a lightly wooded field and also has a pair on the lockplate and a lone bird on the pivot pin, the underside has a pair of alighting mallards heading into the cattails, and the trigger guard shows a mallard in flight over a pond. All of the scenes are cut in exceptionally high detail with "C. Tomasoni" signed on the triggerplate for Italian Master Engraver Claudio Tomasoni. The gun features a single trigger, tang mounted selector switch, and manual tang safety. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with matching engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with right hand palm swell and a Kick-Eez recoil pad. Includes a wood and leather takedown case and ten extra choke tubes.
