Manufactured in 1973, the first year of production for the No. 3. Production for these rifles began at serial number "130-50000" making this example the 210th ever produced. The rifle has a single slotted receiver screw. After serial number 300 these rifles has a double slotted receiver screw. Our consignor reports that only 11 single slotted receiver screw models are known. Fitted with beaded blade front and folding adjustable rear sights and standard markings.

Excellent, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks. Wood is very fine with two splice repairs on the right side of the wrist (likely factory), minor dings and scratches, and most of the original varnish remaining. Mechanically excellent.
