Manufactured as a rifle for police and military contracts. The Blaser Long Range Sporter 2 (LRS2) uses many of the appointments that set the company's R line of rifles apart from their competition. The most obvious of these is the straight pull bolt which allows for faster follow up shots than a conventional turn bolt, with this example having a left handed bolt. The barrel, which can be quickly swapped in a matter of minutes, has the scope mounted to it so that there is no need to rezero the rifle upon switching caliber. The barrel on this specific rifle is mounted with a Zeiss Conquest 4.5-14x44 MC scope. The action block is mounted in a tactical stock with adjustable cheekpiece and recoil pad.
