John Martz took his hand to this Walther "ac/41" P-38, redesigning it along the lines of the DWM Navy Luger of WWI fame. The original rear sight has been removed and a filler block installed in its place. The barrel assembly is now 8 inches long with a fixed blade front sight, 3-position tangent notch rear sight just ahead of the front of the slide, "eagle/88" proofmarks and a "999/j" marked locking block. The top of the frame is marked "JVM" with an electric pencil.

Very good as professionally upgraded to current configuration by John Martz, showing 98% high polish blue finish. Some mild handling marks are visible overall, along with a small amount of pitting beneath the surface. Grips are very good with a few minor scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
