Offered here is a wonderful example of Spanish firearms art. This Llama IIIA features near full coverage damascene inlays. The left side of the slide features geometric and floral designs surrounding a central panel of a pheasant in a wooded scene and "LLAMA-CAL-380" near the rear sight with engraved accents. The slide features a matching motif with a central fox scene and engraved accents. The frame, safety, grip safety, and slide release are all damascened to match the slide with a songbird scene on the underside of the frame ahead of the triggerguard and a crane scene on the frontstrap. Each of the triggerguard cutouts have been engraved with a light floral design. The right side of the frame is marked on the right side with the importer marking. Even the magazine baseplate on this pistol features a beautifully executed damascened floral motif. The frame is fitted with a set of pearlite grips with damascened "LLAMA" medallions.
