Blued steel barrels with a ramped beaded blade front sight, four leaf (one standing, three folding) rear sight on the raised rear quarter rib, London nitro proofs, and chambers with ejectors. The barrels are marked "W. J. JEFFERY & Co." and "13. KING STREET. St. JAMES'S. LONDON." on the left and right respectively. The casehardened boxlock action displays extensive scroll engraving surrounding "W. J. Jeffery & Co." banners on either side with scroll continuing onto the toplever, trigger guard, and both tangs. The rifle features bushed firing pins, double triggers, and a tang mounted manual safety with gold inlaid "SAFE". Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings, including the rotary lever latch release, and pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap, "JCR" in the inscription oval, raised cheekpiece grafted on, and rubber recoil pad. Length of pull 14 1/4 inches (cast-off). Weight 11 lbs. 14 oz.

Fine, retaining 98% plus reapplied blue on the barrels with some pitting underneath on the left towards the breech, flashes of original case colors on the action with a silver patina on the balance, silver patina on the trigger guard, and mild handling evidence. The reoiled wood is also fine with a few minor marks, discolored grip cap, and overall sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
