The casehardened sidelock action shows light border engraving and "HOLLAND & HOLLAND" signed on either lockplate. The rifle features bushed firing pins, gold centerlined cocking indicators, double triggers, and a tang mounted automatic safety switch with gold inlaid "SAFE". Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend with lightly engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with casehardened trapdoor grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, blank inscription oval, and red rubber recoil pad. Very fine as professionally refurbished, retaining 98% blue and casehardened finishes with light handling evidence, a patch of lost finish on the left barrel, some oxidation in the rear sight leaves, slightly loose grip cap, and sharp recut checkering on the stock. Mechanically excellent.
