Manufactured in 1969 and subsequently engraved by renowned American engraver Daniel Cullity, long known as one of the finest firearms artisans of the late 20th century. The barrel, frame, and back strap display 80% coverage floral scroll engraving with wavy line motifs on the sides of the top strap and rear of the frame flanking the hammer. The side plate is signed "D. Cullity" beneath a gold inlaid eagle in flight. Fitted with serrated blade front and frame notch rear sights as well as a set of checkered panel walnut grips with "S&W" medallions. Includes original S&W blue box.
