The coin silver finished boxlock action displays a trio of beautifully cut game bird scenes and gold inlaid "SCO" on the underside with the surrounding space showing attractive tight scrollwork interspersed with floral bouquets which extends to the trigger guard, toplever, and top tang. The left side of the action shows three quail in flight in an arid scene, the right has a covey of quail flushing over a field, and the underside shows a pair of grouse flushing in a pine forest scene. The triggerplate is signed "INC. CAMPANA. A." to the right of the trigger. The gun features a single gold washed trigger and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Exceptionally well-figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings, including the Deeley style release, and pistol grip stock with right hand palm swell and factory rubber recoil pad. Included is a factory takedown case with an extra set of mainsprings and firing pins.
