Blued steel barrels with a ramped beaded blade front sight, two position (one standing, one folding) rear sight, and German claw mounts holding a Zeiss Diatal-Z 4x32mm T* scope on the partially matted solid rib. The barrels show light engraving, standard Beretta marking, import mark under the forend, 1986 dated Italian proofs, and chambers with automatic ejectors. The bright coin finished bolstered sidelock action displays attractive light scroll borders surrounding three incredibly detailed hand cut bulino engraved animals. The left lockplate shows a fierce lion with a rippling main, the right shows a large imposing brown bear, and the underside has an impressive bull moose. The lion and the bear are signed "F. BIELLI". The rifle features double triggers, double rolled trigger guard, and tang mounted manual safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with blue engraved fittings, including the Deeley style release, and pistol grip stock with engraved blue trapdoor grip cap, raised cheekpiece, engraved blued cartridge trap, and red rubber recoil pad. Included is a wood and leather takedown case. Length of pull 14 1/2 inches. Weight 12 lbs. 2 oz. including scope.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retaining 90% original blue finish, 98% original coin finish, some rub wear at the front of the barrel rib, scattered light discoloration in the coin, and overall light handling evidence. The wood is also very fine with some scattered dings and scratches and sharp checkering. The scope optics are sharp. The case is very good. Mechanically excellent.
