Barrel with bead sight, checkered stock with raised cheekpiece, and a carved scene of a large buck deer resting in the woods. It is fitted with an ornate trigger guard. Right hammer rest missing, front portion of right lock plate broken away, dent in left barrel, and the trigger guard has a small crack. The Leige blackpowder proof and the capital letters "GNM" are found along with what appears to be the number 39 are all to be found on the barrels. His research indicates that this gun may have been manufactured by Gustav Mordant of Leige Belgium.

Side by side percussion model. Barrels marked "CHR FUNK SUHL". Barrel gauge indicates a 16 gauge equivalent. Checkered stock with raised cheekpiece and metal buttplate. Consignor indicates the gun may have been built by Christof Funk of Suhl Germany. Left lock has been replaced.
