OD - VERY GOOD- all original parts; none to 30% original finish; original metal surfaces smooth with all edges sharp; clear lettering, numerals and design on metal; wood slightly scratched or bruised.

Description:

Lock plate is marked with the eagle and " U.S. / NORFOLK" in front of the hammer and "1863" behind the hammer. The top of the barrel is marked "1863" and on the upper left flat " V / P / eagle head" at the breech end. The three barrel bands are marked with a "U". It has a fixed front sight and a three leaf rear sight with the leafs marked "1", "3" and "5" on the upper right corners. Full stock with steel forend cap and buttplate marked "US." on the tang.
