This rifle has a Remington Rolling Block Action and Numrich heavy barrel. The upper tang of the receiver is marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO. / ILION. N.Y. U.S.A. / PATENTED OCTR. 22ND 1902". The top rear flat of the heavy barrel is marked "NUMRICH ARMS / 45-70 Buffalo", third line unreadable. Fold down front globe sight and adjustable rear Marble's sight. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with a steel crescent buttplate.
