OD - VERY GOOD- all original parts; none to 30% original finish; original metal surfaces smooth with all edges sharp; clear lettering, numerals and design on metal; wood slightly scratched or bruised.

Manufactured 1850 - 1873. Standard markings and features, back grip strap is marked "J. ALDERDICE" and the butt is marked "12th KY CAV.". The front left side of the trigger guard is stamped "2". The cylinder markings are faint but visible and the case coloring is visible in a few of the protected areas. All metal parts cleaned. Some research may prove interesting.
