Manufactured in 1860. Two line "New York City" address with brackets on the barrel, "COLTS / PATENT" on the frame, and stagecoach scene on the cylinder. The full serial number is marked on the barrel, frame, trigger guard, backstrap and cylinder. The partial number "4978" is marked on the loading lever. Fitted with smooth one piece varnished walnut grips.
