OD - VERY GOOD- all original parts; none to 30% original finish; original metal surfaces smooth with all edges sharp; clear lettering, numerals and design on metal; wood slightly scratched or bruised.

Description:

Manufactured in 1866. This "Third Model" revolver features standard markings and features. All of the serial numbers match.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with traces of the original blue, showing a mixed brown and gray patina on the surface, along with some light pitting and dings. The frame has turned a similar coloration, with a plum brown color on the lever. Hints of the original silver remain on the grip frame, with a mixed aged patina. Grips are good, with chipping around the butt, varnish loss and pressure dents. Action is good.
