Produced in 1852. The barrel has been shortened to it's present length and front sight filed down. Single line address on the top barrel flat, "COLTS / PATENT" on the left side of the frame and naval scene on the cylinder. Matching serial number on the barrel, frame, trigger guard, backstrap cylinder and loading lever. One piece varnished grips. Much of the original silver remains on the grip frame
