The only visible markings being the serial numbers and caliber on the left trigger guard shoulder. The complete serial number is marked on the barrel, frame, trigger guard and back strap with the spurious "L" on top of the barrel number and under the remaining numbers. The partial number "1239" is marked on the wedge. It is unknown if the barrel address was London, New York or Hartford, however the London marked revolvers were usually found in the 38000 serial number range.
