Manufactured in circa 1896. With browned damascus barrels with concave rib engraved for its full length with waved lines, large bead front sight, signed “I. HOLLIS & SONS, BIRMINGHAM” and with doll’s head extension. Casehardened action with blued toplever and trigger guard. Casehardened rebounding side locks each signed “I. HOLLIS & SONS”. Border and scroll engraved throughout. The barrels and action struck with Birmingham proof and nitro reproof marks. Figured 14 1/4 inch semi-pistol grip stock with checkered grip and forearm, the butt cut with grooves between blued border engraved heel and toe plates, the underside of the butt with blank silver oval initial escutcheon.
