Description:

This is a very rare example of a early post WWI long barreled, bolo frame commercial Mauser Model 1896 semi-automatic pistol. The rarity of this model is based on the fact that it has a "5 1/2 inch" barrel (as most were 4 inch) mounted on a small grip, "bolo" style frame. It has commercial proofs with "GERMANY" stamped on the left center panel indicating it was exported out of Germany. It has matching numbers to include both grip panels.
