Manufactured in 1875. The top of the barrel has the two-line Hartford address flanked by Maltese crosses, and the left side of the frame is marked "22 CAL". Scroll and punch dot engraving is featured on the frame sides, with a geometric pattern engraved on the back strap. The barrel sides have an engraved circle and scalloped motif with a zigzag line pattern on the barrel lug. The cylinder features a geometric line engraving with a gold wash applied over the nickel plating. Fitted with smooth bird head grips numbered to the gun. The included factory letters confirms the current configuration, minus the gold washed cylinder, as well as shipment to John P. Moores Sons, New York, New York, on October 26, 1875.
