This interesting and rare pistol may be late 18th century French in origin, but aside from "187" stamped on the butt and some floral scroll engraving on the brass frame/grip, the pistol is unmarked. The cock and trigger are nice scroll patterns. There is a small round switch on the right for rotating the barrels.

Very good with aged patina on the brass, faint crack by the screw on the right, gray and brown patina on the balance, and general mild overall wear mainly from age and storage.
