Description:

The included factory letter lists this revolver as chambered in .38 special with a 6 inch barrel, blue finish and type of stocks not listed and furnished with a short action (writer believes this to be single action features) and a special notation of being "National Match Grade" when sold to the United States Government and shipped to the Transportation Officer at Cleveland ARC in Cleveland Ohio on February 24, 1960 on factory order #9854. Fitted with Patridge blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights as well as checkered walnut target grips. Also included is a hobbyist wooden display case with the Cold "serpentine" logo and information about the revolver on the lid and a fitted interior with a cartridge block and 6 rounds in the corner.

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue finish with limited handling marks, some extremely light muzzle wear, a light cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is very fine.
