Blued steel barrels with a single nickel bead sight on the matted vent rib, 1963 dated Italian proofs, light engraving at the breech, chokes marked "**"/"*" (modified/full), and 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors. The coin finished hand detachable sidelock action displays extensive beautifully cut broad floral scroll engraving over a nicely matted background extending to the toplever, both tangs, and the triggerguard. The triggerplate is signed "B. CONSOLI" to the right of the trigger. The gun features gas checked firing pins, dual triggers, and a manual tang mounted safety switch. Attractively figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and round knob pistol grip stock with rear sling swivel and checkered bare butt. Includes a factory takedown case. Very fine, retaining 98% original blue and coin finishes with minor handling evidence, slight area of pitting at the left of the breech, and a tiny spot of oxidation on the rib. The wood is fine with scattered dings and scratches, minor chipping at the top tang, and overall crisp checkering. The case is very good with a non-functioning right latch. Mechanically excellent.
