Manufactured in 1921 and is one of just seven guns built in this configuration of 12 gauge GH Grade and 34 inch Special Steel barrels per the chart on page 279 of "The Parker Story" by Gunther, Mullins, Parker, Price, and Cote making this among the rarest ever built. Dual bead sights on the matted solid rib which is marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. SPECIAL STEEL", lengthened 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and choke constrictions of .042/.041 inches. The casehardened action features standard GH engraving consisting of oval game bird scenes on the left, right, and underside surrounded by light scrollwork and line borders. The gun features a Miller single trigger and tang mounted manual safety. Attractively figured, multi-point checkered beavertail forend with engraved fittings and a pistol grip stock with silver inscription shield and an added Pachmayr rubber recoil pad. The above configuration, aside from the added Miller trigger, is confirmed on page 489 of "Parker Gun Identification & Serialization" by Price and Fjestad. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech .735/.736 inches; minimum wall thickness .031/.030 inches; 1 15/16 inch drop at comb; 2 9/16 inch drop at heel; 13 15/16 inch length of pull; weight 9 lbs. 3 oz.

Very fine as professionally refurbished, retaining 98% blue and caseharded finishes with some minor spots of thinning, minor handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent.
