Manufactured in 1968. Single white bead sight on the matted vent rib, standard markings, wedges scroll engraving at the breech end, 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and "**-"/"**" (improved cylinder/modified) marked chokes which have been altered to accept Briley choke tubes. The blued action displays full coverage scroll engraving on punchdot background surrounding game bird scenes showing a trio of pheasant on the left, three mallards on the right, and a grouse on the underside. The birds are rendered in fine semi-relief gold inlay with gold inlaid borders around the scenes on the sides of the action. The piece is signed "ABEE" on both sides of the action at the low rear. The triggerguard and tangs are engraved with matching scroll and checker board patterns and an initial shield at the center of the guard with relief gold inlaid initials "F/M/R". Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and a pistol grip stock with Browning buttplate. Includes a Browning leatherette takedown case. Barrel and stock measurements: bore diameter nine inches from the breech .624/.625 inches; choke constriction .019/.013 inches; minimum wall thickness .040/.040 inches; 1 12 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 11 oz.

Very fine with 99% professionally reapplied blue finish on the barrels and 99% original blue finish on the action and small parts with limited handling marks, softened barrel markings, and crisp engraving and stock checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent.
