Built by Lin Alexiou of Fraser, Michigan, the Scorpion was a conversion package offered by Trapper Gun Inc. for the Smith & Wesson Model 39. It is very much in the same vein as the popular Devel full house conversion. For this conversion, the barrel, frame, and magazine were shortened, the hammer was bobbed, and the trigger guard was thinned on the right side with a finger hook added to the front. The left side of the slide has been remarked "Personal Protection Systems LTD" with "Scorpion" and "031" on the right. Fitted with one-piece guttersnipe sight, and polymer grips with silver medallion numbered "031" inlaid into right panel. Includes a fitted hardwood case numbered to match gun, two extra magazines, and twenty-two rounds of ammunition.
