Description:

This impressive unmarked large bullet and buckshot gang mold is attributed as Confederate Armorer made for a Lemat revolver. The mold measures approximately 23 3/4 inches in overall length, and features twelve cavities for casting .42 caliber lead bullets with three grease grooves, twenty-two smaller round cavities for casting lead buckshot balls measuring at approximately .22 caliber, a combination funnel and sprue cutter, and wood handles.

Rating Definition:

Good overall, with smooth brown patina on the iron and some scattered light to moderate pitting, scattered light nicks on the refinished wood handles with some large filled in repairs visible, and a modern replacement nut for the sprue cutter. This would make the most impressive accessory to accompany a Confederate LeMat revolver!
