Manufactured in 1907 with a Winchester factory oval proof on the receiver ring along with the scarce caliber marking "303" for .303 British. The left side of the receiver is marked with the standard two-line address and patent dates. The upper tang is marked with the three-line model and trademark, while the serial number is marked on the lower tang along with "A". It is fitted with a pinned German silver blade front sight, a folding ladder rear sight, and a saddle ring on the left of the receiver. It is mounted with a smooth forearm with finger grooves, upper handguard, and a smooth straight grip stock with a carbine buttplate.

Fine, retains 70% of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina. The wood is also fine with a few scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
