Manufactured in 1937. The rifle is in a scarce .22 Long Rifle configuration with an octagon barrel, which Winchester offered from 1932-1946. It is fitted with a beaded blade front sight and elevation adjustable rear sight. The upper left barrel flat is stamped with the Winchester legend ending in "-.22 LONG R.-," and the factory oval proof is on the barrel and receiver. Mounted on an 11-groove forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent, retaining 95% original blue finish with some high edge wear, a slide retraction mark, and a few dings and scratches on lower receiver. Stock is very fine with scattered dings and scratches as well as a few hairline cracks around the tangs. Mechanically excellent.
