Manufactured in 1890. Damascus steel barrels with a single bead sight on the matted solid rib, standard markings, 2 1/2 inch chambers with ejectors, and choke constrictions of .033/.033 inches. The casehardened boxlock action features standard DH Grade engraving consisting of floral scroll work surrounding game scenes showing a setter in a field on the right, a brood of pheasants in tall grass on the underside, and a pointer in a field on the left. The gun features double triggers and an automatic safety. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered forend and pistol grip stock with factory grip cap and Jostam recoil pad. The above configuration is confirmed on page 231 of "Parker Gun Identification & Serialization" by Price and Fjestad. Stock measurements: 1 3/4 inch drop at comb; 2 11/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/8 inch length of pull; weight 8 lbs. 3 oz.

Fine overall, showing a mostly smooth brown patina with strong patterns on the barrels, original case colors visible in the protected areas with the balance a grey patina, mild handling evidence, some missing varnish on the stock, and overall crisp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent.
