There are small proofs on the cylinder that may be British. It is fitted with a pair of smooth hardwood grips. Provenance: The George S. Lewis Jr. Collection

Excellent, retains 95% plus of the original nickel finish with a few patches of minor flaking near the muzzle and the leading edges of the cylinder showing mostly a smooth grey patina. The grips are also excellent with a few scattered light handling marks. The cylinder rotates intermittently when the hammer is cocked.
