Description:

Receiver from January 1955 production. Features winged blade front and adjustable peep rear sights, with Springfield Armory "SA" marked barrel dated "11 54," "SA" marked bolt, trigger housing, hammer, safety, and relief cut operating rod. The stock is marked with DoD acceptance cartouche and circled "P" on the wrist, with checkered steel buttplate. It includes a green M1 web sling.

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original parkerized finish with scattered handling marks. The re-oiled stock is very fine with minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
