Matching serial numbers on the barrel, slide, and frame, matching partial number on the locking block, and "ac" on the left side of the trigger guard and underside of the barrel lug. Ribbed bakelite grips and "P38" and "eagle/359" marked magazine.

Very fine, with 75% of the original blue finish, showing a brown and gray patina concentrated on the frontstrap, gray spots concentrated in the right side slide serrations, bright edge wear, and mild handling marks. The grips are fine, with some light scuffing. Mechanically excellent.
