Manufactured in 1925. Single bead sight on the matted solid rib which is marked "PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. SPECIAL STEEL" (the word "SPECIAL" is remarked"), lengthened 3 inch chambers with automatic ejectors, and choke constrictions of .038/.038 inches. The casehardened action features standard GH engraving consisting of oval game bird scenes on the left, right, and underside surrounded by light scrollwork and line borders. The gun features double triggers and tang mounted automatic safety. Attractively figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and a pistol grip stock with silver inscription shield and a Del Grego red rubber recoil pad. According to page 532 of "Parker Gun Identification & Serialization" by Price and Fjestad this gun left the factory as a DHE Grade gun, though it appears as though it has been converted to its current Remington era GHE configuration, possibly by Larry Del Grego. Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 3/16 inch drop at heel; 14 1/4 inch length of pull; weight 9 lbs. 13 oz.
