Excellent Documented Two-Tone "Pinto" Smith & Wesson Pre-Model 27 Five Screw .357 Magnum Double Action Revolver with Factory Letter

The included factory letter lists this revolver with a 5 inch barrel, blue and nickel finish, red ramp front sight, adjustable rear sight, and smooth rosewood target square butt grips with silver Smith & Wesson medallions when shipped to Rex Firearms Company in New York City on June 14, 1954. Matching serial numbers found on barrel, cylinder, and butt.

ConditionExcellent, retaining 97% original blue and nickel finishes with some finish loss on the barrel rib, light overall spotting, a light cylinder drag line, and bright case colors on the hammer. Grips are very fine with some dings and scratches on the left panel and light handling marks on the right. Mechanically excellent.
