Winchester Model 1895 Lever Action Rifle

Manufactured in 1901 with standard markings. It is fitted with a beaded blade front sight and elevation adjustable buckhorn rear sight. It is mounted with a Schnabel tip forearm with ebony insert and straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

ConditionVery fine, retains 70% plus of the original blue finish and 85% of the vibrant case colors on the hammer with the balance having thinned to a mixture of grey and brown patinas, primarily on the top and sides of the receiver. The wood is also very fine with a few scattered minor dings. Mechanically excellent.
