The bottom of the barrel is marked with five more proofs and other marks. Matching serial numbers appear on all major parts. The rear of the forearm drops down at the breech when the slide on the left side of the receiver is moved to the rear for loading the magazine tube, which is housed in the forearm. The entire assembly can be slid off the front of the barrel after it is released. The toggle link mechanism is operated by a lever on the right side of the receiver which rotates down for cocking. The barrel has a 2 1/2 inch chamber and is full choke. The forearm is checkered below the finger grooves. The checkered stock has a round knob on the pistol grip. It has a hard rubber buttplate and a sling swivel. The swivel on the front of the magazine tube is missing.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 98% of the original blue finish showing high edge wear and a few overall scattered minor scratches and dings. The wood is very fine with scattered minor dents, dings and scratches. The checkering remains crisp. Markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
