Very fine. Approximately 95% thinning blue remains on the barrel, magazine tube and breech bolt with high edge wear and thinning on the magazine tube and brown patina. Scattered light spotting on the barrel. Approximately 70% of the casehardening colors remain with the receiver, trigger guard, buttplate and most of the right side of the action a smooth gray patina. The remaining casehardening colors are vivid. The right side of the action has a thumb sized area of deep pitting and several small areas of spotting and flashes of bright casehardening colors. The wood is very fine with an area of small pressure dents on the left side of the buttstock and overall scattered minor dings and dents. Markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
