The Model 1895 was the first non-detachable box magazine rifle Winchester offered. Manufactured in 1924 this rifle features fixed front sight with adjustable buckhorn rear sight. Smokeless powder markings on the left side of the barrel just ahead of the caliber markings "30 GOV'T'-06". Standard two line New Haven address and patent dates ending in 1907 are on the left side of the receiver. Plain forearm and straight grip stock with a metal crescent butt plate.

Fine (with exception noted below) with approximately 95% original blue finish remaining on the barrel with showing light surface scratches and high point edge wear near the breach. The receiver and box magazine area have about 30% original blue finish mostly in protected areas the balance is now and eve smooth gray patina. The wood is fine as revarnished with only a few scattered pressure dents.
