The Model 1895 was the first non-detachable box magazine rifle Winchester offered. Manufactured in 1924 this rifle features fixed front sight with adjustable buckhorn rear sight. Smokeless powder markings on the left side of the barrel just ahead of the caliber markings "30 GOV'T'-06". Standard two line New Haven address and patent dates ending in 1907 are on the left side of the receiver. Plain forearm and straight grip stock with a metal crescent butt plate.
