Description:

Originally manufactured at the FEG factory in Hungary, based on the Hungarian M1935 short rifle. The top of the receiver is marked "jhv/ 43", with the "G 98/40" mark on the left side along with the "eagle/ swastika" firing proofs and serial number. Hooded blade front sight with tangent rear graduated to 2000 meters. Smooth two piece pistol grip stock with sling mounts and flat butt. Except for the floor plate, all external numbers match. (difficult to find these with mostly matching numbers!)

Rating Definition:

Fine, with approximately 30-40% of the blue finish, showing a mixed gray patina on most of the surface, along with smooth wear along the high edges and minor dings and scratches. The stock is very good, with scratches, pressure dents and a few minor chips. Action is fine.
