Matching serial numbers on the bolt, receiver, bayonet lug and forend. It has the adjustable rear sight graduated to 1,400 meters, correctly mounted on the rear receiver bridge and still has the magazine cutoff. One piece full stock with full hand guard, brass buttplate with compartment and leather military sling. This is a rare example of a pre war British No. 5 rifle. These were produced in limited numbers in 1923-1925 and exhibit excellent workmanship.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with exception noted. The rifle retains approximately 95-97% of the original, blue finish. Stock and hand guard are very fine with a few minor dings, dents and a small gouge on the top of the buttstock. Brass unit disk in the right side of the stock has been replaced with a U.S.1950 quarter.
