Manufactured 1947 this rifle features a dovetailed blade with silver bead front sight and adjustable sporting rear sight on a round barrel with a 3/4 length tube magazine. The upper left side of the barrel is marked with the Winchester address over "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL" followed by "WINCHESTER/ TRADEMARK" and the model and caliber information. The Winchester proofs are on the top of the receiver and barrel. Seventeen groove flat bottom forearm with a plain pistol grip stock and checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent with 98% of the original blue finish remaining and only minor high edge wear and handling marks. The wood is excellent with light pressure dents and handling marks.
