Standard two-line Winchester address and patent markings on the left side of the barrel followed by "MOD. 1906", correct proofs on the top of the barrel and receiver, with a two-leaf bead and globe front sight, fixed notch rear sight, and a tang mounted peep sight. Takedown receiver with matching serial numbers. Smooth straight grip stock with smooth slide handle and checkered hard rubber Winchester buttplate.

Very good, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing a brown and gray patina over much of the surface, along with some smooth edge wear, minor handling marks, and a few small areas of pitting on the receiver. The stock is excellent, with a few minor scratches. Excellent action.

Very good as professionally refinished, with 99%+ of the current blue, showing only a few minor handling marks. The stock is also very good, with a few small filled-in areas and light handling marks. Excellent action.
